Kompatscher wins big in Non Pro European Futurity finals

23/05/2026 – The just 20-year-old Elia Kompatscher (ITA) was the big winner in the Non Pro NRHA European Futurity finals for 4-year-old horses concluded yesterday in Cremona (ITA). Posting a 221,0 with LC Whizdom Magout [Whizdom Shines] Kompatscher claimed both the € 123.076 added L4- and € 71.794 added L3 Futurity Champion title. A guaranteed $ 50.000 paycheck (€ 42.735) came along with the L4 title. The co-Reserve Champion title went to Dries Verschueren (BEL) with GP Hollywoodshowtown [GP A Spook In Town] and Matteo Cappello (ITA) with Gun Nifty Dreams [Gotta Nifty Gun] both posting a 220,5. Verschueren also claimed the L3 Reserve Futurity Champion title. Stefano Carpentieri (ITA) en Trend Starter [A Vintage Smoke] placed 3rd posting a 219,0. Carpentieri also claimed both the  38.461 added L2- and € 23,076 added L1 Futurity Champion title. There was a tie for the L2 co-Reserve Futurity Champion title. Both Roberta Gianformaggio (ITA) with Magnum Mooncrush [PS Mega Shine Chic], Antonello Biscaglia (ITA) with AB Snow Flipingun [Colonels Shining Gun] and Anna Palasova (CZ) with SS Wimpyagain [Gunner Dun It Again] posted a 215,0. Palasova also claimed the L1 Reserve Futurity Champion title. Posting a 212,5 Danielle Azaria (ISR) with The Forces Genuine [Maytheforcebewhizyou] placed 3rd.
