Open finalists NRHA European Futurity announced

22/05/2026 – Yesterday the Open preliminaries of the NRHA European Futurity for 4-year-old horses, scheduled in Cremona (IT) have been concluded yesterday and the field of finalists is set.
71 Combinations entered the go-round of the € 358.974 added L4 division. Luca Piccolo (ITA) and MC Spatagun [Spatatino] owned by Maria Pia Sassone (ITA) took the lead posting a 223,0. Both Bernard Fonck (BEL) and DG Andy Crush [PS Mega Shine Chic] owned by Diego Dalla Gassa (ITA) and Manuel Cortesi (ITA) and AR All Sweet Dream [Not Ruf At All] owned by Stefano Scotti (IT) posted a 222,0 tying for 2nd place in the rankings.
In the go round of the € 131.623 added L3 division (91 entries) Piccolo took the lead as well. 4 combinations tied for 2nd place marking a 220,0. Sebastiaan Valtorta (ITA) and In Like Flinnstone [In Like Flinn] owned by Pierguiseppe Giudetti (ITA); Matteo Cuniglio (ITA and Voodoo Gotta Whiz [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Rosanne Sternberg (GB); once again Piccolo and Millenium Voodoo FC [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Caracciolo/Lukacs (ITA); and once again Valtorta and CD Lucifer Made 66 [Inferno Sixty Six] owned by Società Agricola CD Horses SRL (ITA).
In the go round of the € 77,777 added L2 division (89 entries) Cuniglio and Voodoo Gotta Whiz took the lead. Jolien Rottiers (BEL) and Trick R Treat [Tricked Out Spook] owned by AT Reining Dream (BEL) placed 2nd posting a 217,0.
In the € 29.914 added L1 division (39 combinations) Simone Stefano (ITA) and PC Mermaid For Me [PC Magnum Step Dream] owned by Luca Piolanti (IT) took the lead posting a 216,5.  Georg Engelhardt (GER) and Coffee And Gun TB [Gunners Special Nite] owned by Louisa Fieting (GER) placed 2nd posting a 214,5.
