01/08/2021 – In the preliminaries of the L4 IRHA Open Derby Mirko Midili (IT) and the and the 7-year-old stallion Maytheforcebewithyou [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Alberto Capello took the lead posting a 222,0. In the finals concluded yesterday in Cremona (IT), Midili pushed a little bit harder and posting a 227,0 the pair claimed the title. Reserve honors were for Manuel Cortesi (ITA) and the 7-year-old stallion Gunna Sparkle [Gunner] owned by Azienda Agricola Cortesi Piero, posting a 225,5. With the 7-year-old stallion Colonels Dancing Gun [Gunner] owned by Quarter Dream SRL, Nico Sicuro (ITA marked a 224,0 placing 3rd.
The L3 title went to Gunna Sparkle and reserve honors with a 222,0 to the 8-year-old gelding Four Season Whiz [Topsail Whiz] owned by Luca Mauri and ridden by Sebastiano Valtorta (ITA). Gal Grahelj (CZE) and the 6-year-old stallion Walla Whiz A Dun It [Walla Walla Whiz] owned by Katja Srimsek marked a 221,0 placing 3rd.
The L2 title went to Four Season Whiz and Valtorta, reserve honors to Walla Whiz A Dun Ït and Grahelj and 3rd place marking a 220,5 to the 5-year-old mare Designer Jersey [Yellow Jersey] owned by Jerzey Szumanski and ridden by Francesco Barbagli (ITA).
In L1 it was German Lena-Marie Maas who piloted her own 7-year-old gelding Chic Heidi [Chic Magnetic] to the title marking a 215,0. Reserve honors, marking a 214,0, were for the 5-year-old stallion I Spring For Chicks [Magnum Chic Dream] owned by Eyal Carmon and ridden by Gabriele Landi (ITA). Marking a 212,5, step 3 of the podium was for the 5-year-old mare Miss Dr Feel Good [Hollywood Gun Dunnit] owned by and ridden by Giulia Mandaletti (ITA).
