GP Sunrise At Six and Girinon NRHA Belgium L4 Open Futurity Champion

19/09/2026 – The NRHA Belgium $ 20.000 added L4 Open-, $ 7.000 added L3 Intermediate Open-, $ 4.000 added L2 Limited Open- and $ 2.000 added L1 Open Futurity for 3-year-old horses have been concluded yesterday at Azelhof Horse Events in Lier (BEL).
Out of 10 entries Julia Städele (GER) aboard her own May I Sail Whiz You [Maytheforcebewhizyou] claimed the L1 Futurity Champion title posting a 212,5. Melani Romi Otto (AUT) and JJ Bibidi Bobidi Bob [SG Frozen Enterprize] owned by Bernard Schul (AUT) took reserve honors posting a 210,0. Step 3 of the podium was with a 209,0 score for QM A Vayana Step [A Vintage Smoke] owned by Manuela Rix (SUI) and ridden by Elias van Nueten (BEL).
L2 (28 entries) was decided in a 4-way tie for the Futurity co-Champion title. Both Städele and May I Sail Whiz You; Axel Pesek (FRA) aboard JCF Wally Wanka [PS Mega Shine Chic] owned by Yannick Pesek and Catherine Coolstock (FRA); Wim Vervecken (BEL) with Voodooswhiztoshine [Shiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Kristel Wauters (BEL) between the reins; and Johannes Heil (GER) with Spooks Whizkey [Dun It For Whizkey] owned by 2BE Ranch (GER) under the saddle posted a 212,5 score.
In L3 (33 entries) Lukasz Czechowics (PL) aboard his own TR Here She Comes [Colonels Smoking Gun] claimed the Futurity Champion title posting a 223,5. There was a 3-way tie for the Reserve Champion title. Matyas Gobert (BEL) posted with both TR Gunna Bring It [Gunnatrashya] owned by AT Reining Dream (BEL) and his own Dr Drre [Shiners Voodoo Dr] a 216,0 and so did Stefano Ferri (ITA) with Swisspook [Smart Spook] owned by Laura Voirol (FRA) between the reins.
It seemed that Czechowics also would claim the L4 (30 entries) title, but Arnaud Girinon (FRA) and GP Sunrise At Six [Inferno 66] owned by Lior Raz (ISR) put a stop to that. Starting second to last Girinon performed a beautiful run that was rewarded with a 224,5 score and the Futurity Champion title. Reserve honors were for Czechowics. Nico Sicuro (ITA) piloted Worldwide Sugar [Sugar Little Step] owned by Quarter Dream SRL (ITA) to step 3 of the podium posting a 220,5.
