Golden Coins and Kole Price TRFAM Champions

16/08/2026 – The scores obtained in the TRFAM (The Run For A Million) competition concluded yesterday night in Las Vegas (USA) were incredibly high. The field of entries counted 16 combinations in total. Being the 4th to enter Andrea Fappani (USA) and the 5-year-old stallion Alpha Viking [Gunnatrashya] owned by Alpha Quarter Horses/LLC Vargo Quarter (USA) took the lead posting a 234,0. However, this lead did not last very long. Gabriel Borges (BRA), entry number 7, aboard of the 6-year-old stallion Spooks Gotta Ice [SG Frozen Enterprize] owned by Kathy Page (USA) performed his pattern in a beautiful way, close to perfection, which was rewarded with a 236,5 score. The audience got what they came for: Reining at its very best.
So also proved Kole Price (USA) with the 6-year-old stallion Golden Coins [Spooks Gotta Gun] owned by Coin Toss LLC (USA). That Price would mark a good score was to be expected. In 2025 this combination claimed both the NRHA L4 Open Derby Reserve Champion title and the NRBC Open Classic Champion title. What Price offered the audience yesterday was beyond expectations. From the start to the end all of the maneuvers deserved a lot of credit resulting in the top score 237,5. A new record in NRHA history. None of the remaining entries got even close to this score and the Champion title associated with a $ 500.000 pay cheque were for Price. The Reserve Champion title associated with a pay cheque of $ 95.000 for Borges.
