EAC Intermediate Open co-Champions

26/07/2026 – 38 Combinations in total from 9 different nations entered the $ 4.000 added Intermediate Open class of the NRHA European Affiliate Championship 2026 (EAC) scheduled at Reining Center Meertenhof in Grathem (NLD). When the last entry left the arena, it was already late in the evening. The class was decided in a co-Championship. Both Markus Süchting (GER) riding SS Beastmode [SG Frozen Enterprize] owned by Katja Jungfer (GER and Quentin Galliere (FRA) riding LH Shinecowboyshine [Cromeds Cowboy] owned by Anke Hartwig (GER) posted a 220,0 and neither Süchting nor Galliere preferred a run-off.
Step 3 of the podium was for TR Voodoo Doll [Shiners Voodoo DR] owned by RS Reining Horses (NLD) and ridden by Anne Grether (NLD). The pair posted a 219,5. Grether also claimed the APHA Crome Cash Intermediate Open title, scheduled class in class. Reserve honors posting a 217,5 were for LT Commander Data MM [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Michaele Kautz (GER) and ridden by Emanuel Ernst (GER). Third place posting a 216,0 was for CSG Tinseltowndlady [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Mateusz Nelapka (POL) and ridden by Jeremy Vandenabeele (FRA).
An absolute disappointment once the class was finished was the award ceremony. Apart from the champions only a few riders had bothered to return to the show arena. Not very respectful and a Championship unworthy.
