Amazing level EAC Youth riders

25/07/2026 – The level of some of the Youth riders competing in the NRHA Affiliate Championship 2026 (EAC) Youth classes concluded yesterday at Reining Center Meertenhof was quite amazing. The Youth 13&Under and Youth 14-18 classes were scheduled class in class, featuring respectively 8- and 17 combinations. Among the very youngest, Emanuel Gebert (GER) and the 11-year-old gelding Wimpys Wanna Dance [Wimpys Little Step] claimed the Champion title. Gebert performed pretty well, resulting in a 146,5 score. The Reserve Champion title was for Viktor de Boever (BE) and the 6-year-old gelding Thirty Eight Speshal [Gunners Special Nite], posting a 141,5. Earlier that morning the pair had already claimed the Rookie Champion title. Step  of the stage was for De Boever as well. With the11-year-old gelding SR Wimpys Little Whiz [Wimpys Littlecolonel] the young rider posted a 139,5.
In the category Youth 14-18 Pascalle van de Watering (NLD) and the 10-year-old gelding Gonnashowya [Gunnatrashya] claimed the Champion title posting a 144,0. Reserve honors were for Christin Beisel (GER) and the 12-year-old gelding PM Jackson Olena [Spat Olena] marking a 142,5. Melanie Toft Gerdes-Hansen (NOR) and the 13-year-old gelding Gunna Outgun Ya [Gunnatrashya] and Silas Borgen (NLD) and the 7-year-old gelding JJ Pleasedforanite [Gunners Special Nite] tied for 3rd place, both making a 140,0.
