Horsepower – The world of Gina Schumacher

05/04/2026 – In cooperation with the German public broadcasting channel ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) German Gina Maria Schumacher has produced the documentary Pferdestärke – Die Welt der Gina Schumacher.
By having $ 2.327.529 in NRHA earnings to her name, Gina Maria Schumacher is the most successful European female reining rider. In the documentary the daughter of seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher gives insight in both her youth and her private life as well a the dark period in her life after the ski accident of her father and emphasizes how the sport and her love for horses has helped her to deal with it.
NRHA $ 3 million owner Corinna Schumacher, Gina Maria’s mother and one of the most successful breeders of Quarter Horses worldwide, speaks in the documentary as well.
From April 17 onwards Pferdestärke – Die Welt der Gina Schumacher can be watched online visiting this link. One month later the documentary will be broadcasted on television.
