Double victory for MC Millenium Falcon and Cortesi at Italian Derby

31/03/2026 -The finals of the € 48.163 added L4-, € 16.054 added L3-, € 9.231 added L2- and € 6.823 L1 IRHA Open Derby for 5-8-year-old horses, scheduled in Cremona(ITA) in conjunction with the finals of the € 62.000 added L4-, € 23.000 L3-, € 15.000 L2-en € 12.000 L1 IRHBA Open Derby for 5-8-year-old horses (only eligible for horses enrolled in the IRHBA program) have been concluded las Saturday.
Posting a 223,5 Manuel Cortesi (ITA) piloted the 5-year-old stallion MC Millenium Falcon [Maytheforcebewhizyou] owned by Stefano Scotti (ITA) to both the IRHA L4 Open- and IRHBA L4 Open Champion title. Ann Fonck (BEL), having the 6-year-old stallion Flor Shining Gun [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Codan NV/Ingrid Vermeiren (BEL) between the reins, claimed both Reserve Champions titles posting a 221,5. Posting a 221,0, the 6-year old stallion Whizkey And Gun [Dun It For Whizkey] owned by Barbara Leitner (AUT) and ridden by Nico Sicuro (ITA) placed third.
