Cira and Genny: European Million Dollar Riders at NRBC

17 April 2023 Off By De Quarter

17/04/2023 – Next Wednesday and Thursday the NRBC (National Reining Breeders Classic) Open preliminaries are scheduled in Tulsa (USA), counting 241 entries in total including quite some native Europeans. Many of them are settled in the USA for years already, except 2: Belgian NRHA One Million Dollar rider Cira Baeck and Italian NRHA One Million Dollar ruiter Gennaro Lendi (Genny for friends). In January 2023 Gennaro moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, and it seems that he is already feeling home. Recently, marking a 228,0 at the Cactus Reining Classic with the 7-year old stallion Vintage Vinny [A Sparkling Vintage] owned by Marc and Kathy Gordon at the Cactus Reining Gennaro qualified for The Run For A Million competition scheduled for August in Las Vegas. Gennaro enters 3 horses at the NRBC: the Italian bred 5-year-old stallion Gee Whiz What A Blue [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Eyal Carmon, the 4-year old stallion Stepin Out Gunnin [Gunnatrashya] owned by Mark and Kathy Gordon and the 7-year-old stallion One Mr JJ [Colonels Shining Gun] owned by Andrea Castrucci. Posting a 230,5 this combination claimed the 2022 IRHA L4 Open Derby Champion title.
Cira recently crossed the ocean. After a turbulent period in which intense happiness for the birth of Archy and intense sadness for the loss of the love of her life followed one another, Cira finally decided to live their dream and has established herself at Lawrence Ranch in Gainesville, Texas. Proof of a lot of power, a lot of love and a lot of courage. Cira enters the 7-year-old stallion Spooks Gotta Outfire [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Clemerson Gomes Barbalho and Mark Weismann and the 6-year-old mare Shes Big Timin [Wimpys Littlecolonel] owned by Lawrence Ranch.
