15/05/2020 – The number of events that are either being canceled or postponed in relation to the COVID-19 situation is increasing.
● As to be expected, the European Championship for Quarter Horses scheduled for August 7 up to and including August 16 in Rieden-Kreuth (GER) has been canceled.
● Earlier this week NRHA Germany announced the postponement of the NRHA Germany Breeders Derby, originally scheduled for June 12 up to and including June 20 in Rieden-Kreuth. The event is now scheduled for September 18 up to and including September 26, again in Rieden-Kreuth.
● The Austrian Futurity scheduled for August 19 up to and including August 23 in Wiener Neustadt (AUT) still stands, but it is to be expected that the event will be canceled as well.
● In the United States of America NRHA USA is still very optimistic: the NRHA Derby scheduled for June 13 up to and including June 21 in Oklahoma City (USA) has not been canceled yet. The number of entries up to date is very disappointing though; not even 90 horses have been entered so far.
