Shiners Voodoo Dr offspring cross NRHA $ 1 million mark
31/01/2020 – And again there is a new NRHA $ 1 million sire: the 13-year-old Shiners Voodoo Dr, a son from Shining Spark out of Voodoo Chic from Smart Chic Olena. Shiners Voodoo Dr, aka Voodoo, is owned by Michael Miola from Silver Spurs Equine LLC. When Miola purchased Xtra Quarter Horses in 2017 the palomino stallion was part of the furniture. Voodoo himself earned over $ 85.900 in his show career with his biggest wins the 2010 Tulsa Reining Classic L3- and L2 Champion title and the 2012 NRHA Derby L4 Open co-Reserve Champion title with Thiago Boechat at the reins. His 3 top performing offspring are Xtra New Pal Voodoo out of Wimpys New Pal from Wimpys Little Step, owned by Silver Spurs Euine LLC, having $ 81.893 to his name; Shiners Voodoo out of BR China Rose from Hollywood Dun It, owned by German Kimberly Wegner, having $ 66.943 to his name of which the main part achieved by Belgian Ann Fonck and the tail by husband Bernard; and Smart Voodoo Doctor out of Smart As Sister from Very Smart Remedy, owned by Mark Blake, having $ 46,452 to his name.
Shiners Voodoo Dr is the 3rd stallion this year reaching the NRHA $ 1 million status. Cromed Out Mercedes and Spat Olena preceded him.
