IRHA Open finalists Futurity 3-years-old determined
26/11/2019 – After the conclusion of the 2nd go round the finalists of the IRHA Open Futurity for 3-years-old have been determined. The Belgian entries did well. The most impressive performance came from Cira Baeck who qualified 3 horses for the L4 finals with the composite scores 438,0, 433,5 and 430,0: Nightcrawler [CFR Centenario Wimpy] owned by Maria Cecilia Fiorucci (ITA), Lil Joe Whiz BB [Lil Joe Cash] owned by Rüdiger Diedenhofen (GER) and Lil Voodo Chic RD [Schiners Voodoo Dr] owned by Fiorucci. with the composite score 430,0. Bernard Fonck qualified 2 horses for the L4 finals with the composite scores 436,0 and 431,5: ND Pop Gun Trash [Gunnatrashya] owned by Nathalie Derua (BEL) and GP A Spook In Town [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by Golden Paint Ranch (BEL). Ann Fonck qualified one horse for the L4 finals with the composite score 433,0: BMS Whizalotof Gold [Hollywood Gun It] owned by Manuela Höll (GER). De highest composite score 443,0 was posted by Italian Manuel Cortesi and AR Vintage Dream [A Sparklin Vintage] owned by Azienda Agricola Cortesi Piero (ITA).
The composite top score 432,5 in L3 was posted by Italian Stefano Angelucci and Massimiliano Ruggeri. Angelucci with Zag Ebony Gun [Shine Chic Shine] owned by Angelucci Quarter Horses (ITA) between the reins and Ruggeri with Tinselmartin [Hollywoodstinseltown] owned by Marino Pilotto (ITA) under the saddle. Angelucci also took the lead in L2. Belgian Matyas Gobert and Heez Ceejay Whiz GG [CJ Whiz] owned by Crystelle Bazetoux (BEL) qualified for the L2 finals with the composite score 417,0. The composite L1 top score 425,5 was posted by German Markus Süchting and Mello Yello Jersey [Yellow Jersey] owned by Kay Schröder (GER).
The finals are scheduled for Sunday November 30.
