Fantastic Elementa Masters Freestyle Reining in Verona
11/11/2019 – The $ 50.000 added Elementa Masters Premiere Freestyle Reining scheduled for Saturday night during the Fiere Cavalli in Verona (ITA) turned out to be a huge success. One stunning performance after the other entertained the audience. Belgian “Wonder Woman” Cira Baeck and the 6-year-old stallion Phantom Face [Pale Face Dunnit] owned by Italian Cecilia Fiorucci pleased the judges and audience the most and posting a 231,0 the pair claimed the title. Earlier that night Back already claimed the co-Reserve Champion titel in the $ 101.000 added Open class posting a 225,5.
Posting a 230,5 Italian Giovanni Masi aboard the 11-year-old stallion Majestic Okie [Okie Dun It Too] owned by Italian Katherine Dejori claimed reserve honors. Dressed like a classical English rider, complete with English saddle Masi performed one excellent maneuver after the other, accompanied by Bon Jovi’s “It’s my life”. Gennaro “Rambo” Lendi and the 10-year-old stallion Yankee Gun [Rowdee Yankee] owned by Italian Marco Meli posted a 228,5, finishing on step 3 of the podium.
A goose bumps moment was caused by German Gina Maria Schumacher and the 6-year-old stallion Lilbellicimo Wimp BB [Wimpys Little Step]. Completely dressed in a Ferrari Formula 1 outfit including a wing Schumacher gave a tribute to her father Michael, 7-times Formula 1 world champion. Though it was not the winning performance, it was definitely the performance that left the deepest impression, a performance to be deeply respected.
