Chicks Smokingun and Morey Fisk Elementa Masters Open Champions

11/11/2019 – In front of a packed stands Canadian Morey Fisk and the 11-year-old stallion Chicks Smokingun [Gunner] owned by Swiss Sabine Schmidt claimed the title in the $ 101.000 added Elementa Masters Premiere Open class run in conjunction with Fiere Cavalli in Verona (ITA). With this victory a stunning amount of $ 23.230 is added to the NRHA earnings of both rider and horse meaning a change in the positions on the NRHA world rankings. Fisk entered the arena wit the score 225,5 to beat, posted by both Belgian NRHA One Million Dollar Rider Ann Fonck and the 5-year-old mare Gunners Specialolena [Gunners Special Nite] owned by Italian Diego dalla Gassa and Belgian NRHA One Million Dollar Rider Cira Baeck and the 6-year-old stallion Phantom Face [Pale Face Dunnit] owned by Italian Maria Cecilia Fiorucci and shown for the first time on European soil. Up to date Fonck had a strong 1st position on the NRHA world rankings, but right now – in her own words -it seems she has lost that position.
Posting a 225, Austrian Sylvia Rzepka and the 7-year-old mare Winnie The Boo [Spooks Gotta Whiz] owned by Austrian Florian Aubruner claimed the title in the $ 40.000 added Intermediate Open class, counting 54 entries in total. Reserve honors, posting a 223,0, are for Austrian Klaus Lechner and the 14-year-old stallion Cody Rooster Delmaso [Ricochet Rooster] owned by his wife Julia Gaupmann-Lechner.
German Niklas Ludwig and the 6-year-old stallion Whiz N Spook [Smart Spook] owned by Dutch Margot van Doorne claimed the title in the $ 500 added Limited Open class counting 42 entries in total. The pair posted a 218,5. Reserve honors, posting a 218,0, are for German Lena-Marie Maas and the 4-year-old stallion Chic Heidi [Chic Magnetic] owned by German Georg Ferl.
