Dutch Roxanne Heij featured in Quarter Horse News
04/02/2019 – Dutch Roxanna Heij from Nederhorst den Berg, a native village with about 5.000 citizens nearby Amsterdam, travels at least once, but often more times a year to the United States of America. Actually there’s nothing special about that, beside the fact that Heij – once there – also enters some of the main US Reining events such as the National Reining Breeders Classic, sometimes even winning a pay cheque. The calm and resolute Dutch therefore did not go unnoticed by the USA media. Quarter Horse News, one of the most prominent American media in the western performance industry, approached her for an interview and Heij made grateful use of that approach. It is quite unique that a Dutch Non Pro rider gets the opportunity to ventilate her story in this way.
